Arlington Arts Tech Spec 2017
The Arts centre consists of the main house which is 250 seat end on format with raked seating. The first five rows are retractable bleacher style seating.
There are also three breakout rooms used for conferencing or that can used for rehearsal space. There is also a large foyer with box office and bar. Accessible toilets are available FOH and also backstage.
The following information lists most FAQ’s along with the relevant technical information. Please confirm your technical requirements before you visit as Arlington Arts is a busy venue and equipment and specifications are subject to change and cannot be guaranteed. Access and Parking

We have ample parking for over 100 cars on site, and reserved parking for most commercial vehicles including splitter vans, 7.5 ton and larger trucks.
Load-in is via concrete ramp (from ramp to stage is approximately 10 m) through three sets of double doors; 2000mm h x 1470mm w. Please note the maximum diagonal dimension is 2440mm.
Seated capacity is 252 (with AA) or up to 380 with seating retracted and standing space. The stage is a proscenium arch format with black box masking.
On the ground floor, adjacent to stage left we have a green room with two sofas, tea/coffee making, microwave, fridge and television. You are also welcome to use the washing machine and dryer along with our iron. Just along from the green room is an accessible toilet.
On the first floor, we have two large dressing rooms. Dressing room one with mirrored seating for 5 and Dressing room 2 with mirrored seating for 7, along with showers and toilets in each room. Also on the first floor there is a backstage cross with several clothes rails which you are welcome to use for your costume storage.
We do not have a permanent Prompt Corner, but do have an LCD screen (with FOH camera feed) along with comms point and backstage calling along with FOH tab control. All situated DSL.

Screws, nails, staples and other fixings are not permitted in our stage floor.
There is no orchestra pit.
Please note that our LX grid is a fixed bar system and cannot be flown. We rig and focus using a Scissor Lift. We have 4 LX bars over stage plus 1 advance FOH and 1 bridge bar FOH, along with two small perch bars Auditorium right & left.
There is no Fly tower above our fixed LX rig.
We have 4 x 250kg Liftket Chain hoists, along with 6 x 4m lengths of Prolyte Truss. This can be configured to fly scenery, cloths and lanterns (Subject to prior agreement & SWL). This is currently hung just in front of our fourth LX bar.
The stage is black box style with soft black masking on both sides of the stage and also upstage along the back wall.
There are a full set of blue house tabs, manually operated from stage left. There is a full width white cyclorama hung upstage.
Along with soft masking we also have six 1.5m wide x 6m tall tormentors which can be used to mask entrances and exits. Please notify us in advance if you would like to use these.

Throughout the stage is 13amp power accessible from all areas of stage. We also have a 32 amp three phase power supply by the side of stage. (Please note we do not have distro for the 32A feed)

Full range ElectroVoice PA system with Precision Series amplifiers. Controlled via an
Allen & Heath GLD 80 Digital Desk. The desk is Linked by Tour grade Cat5 to the Digital Stage box situated S/R. The Box has 24 inputs and 12 outputs.
